General Rules for eligibility before applying for the Award:

 

1. Only SOS members are eligible to apply for this award.
    

2. SOS membership should be valid. If expired, renew it before applying for the award.
    

3. The topic of the research should be one of the eye diseases pertinent to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
    

4. The applicant should be an Ophthalmologist and must be the principal investigator (first author) of the published paper.
    

5. He has the right to submit only one research paper.

6. The research must have been published between 2022 and 2024 in any recognized, peer-reviewed, and indexed ophthalmic journal.
   
   Notes:
    

• If the application does not match the above criteria, the committee has full right to reject it without any notice.
   

• The name of the winning candidate will be announced during the Opening Ceremony and the winner will receive a certificate and a cheque of SR 5,000
